Mighty oaks from tiny acorns grow - and this little kit can help you grow your very own. Collect your tree seed (a nut, winged-seed, berry or even a conker), and follow the instructions within - perhaps one day your tree will provide oxygen, habitat and food for creatures and birds, or even the shade for a picnic. It's a wonderful thing to do now, for the future - and you can use your beautiful, wooden-handled trowel for other gardening jobs whilst you wait!

The kit contains:

• Drawstring Hessian bag to keep your Plant a Tree Kit components safe
• A beautiful trowel with a high quality stainless steel head. Handle made from ash wood, contoured for a comfortable grip. Proportionally smaller and lighter than an adult's hand trowel
• A Tree Identification Chart - a beautifully illustrated tree and seed reference guide. Designed, folded and laminated for a long life by the Field Studies Council
• A mini, reusable, drawstring jute bag to hold seed collections or specimens
• A helpful hints and tips guide to help you grow your tree
• Five small, compostable coir pots in which to plant your tree seed or nut
• Recommended for children aged 6+

The Den Kit Co. was founded by ex-primary school teachers and Forest School Practitioners Kay and Jo who are both passionate advocates of outdoor play. Their vision is to, "inspire wonder and intrigue in the next generation through creative, fun and unprescribed outdoor play. Their kits are all designed, tested and assembled at their workshop in Shropshire. All components are sourced with sustainability in mind.
